Job summary

Tremco CPG Inc. seeks a Quality Manager to oversee the quality process ensuring raw materials, color orders, and finished products meet customer requirements.

You will lead ISO quality systems, Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and coordinate third‑party testing in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials, polymer, business management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience developing and administering quality programs (Lean, ISO, Six Sigma) and chemical batch making operations.
• ISO certification

Responsibilities

• Oversee all quality related functions and ISO quality systems; lead lean and six sigma initiatives.
• Develop lean and sustainable saving plans and facilitate small K generation and implementation.
• Develop quality standards/test/inspection plans for raw materials and finished products (specification, sample size and frequency).
• Develop and administer product and process audits to ensure standard work executed on the manufacturing floor and in the lab.
• Participate in the development of specifications for processing, products, and materials.
• Oversee all lab functions and personnel, assuring safety and integrity of operations.
• Develop and deliver robust training programs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead product compliance activities to ensure certification.
• Act as the designated site representative and primary liaison for external accreditation bodies (e.g., FM, UL).
• Establish testing and sampling parameters, align product specification with required testing standards, document pass/fail criteria, and schedule third-party testing to avoid bottlenecks.
• Enact product holds and utilize inventory control systems to quarantine affected batches and prevent shipment.
• Create and execute CAPA plans to address manufacturing issues and verify fixes with testing rounds.
• Collaborate with other departments on vendor quality or supply issues and vendor qualification.
• Manage customer complaints through root cause investigations, corrective actions, and SAP quality processes.
• Interact professionally with customers, product management and sales force.
