Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL seeks a SITC Quality Engineering Associate Manager to lead a team of quality engineers on the production floor, driving quality excellence across programs.

You will review documentation, manage corrective actions, and interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel while applying lean methods to reduce waste. A Secret clearance is required. This role offers strong growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level STEM degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Quality or Manufacturing engineering experience on production floor.
• Experience as a team lead, facilitator and communicator.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Experience making risk-based, data-driven decisions.
• Experience implementing MRBs and dispositioning non-conformances.
• FAI experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers in Production Operations.
• Support inspection and develop methodologies to meet requirements.
• Review documentation to ensure processes meet standards.
• Analyze and resolve process issues across levels.
• Lead corrective action meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in MRBs and FBRs to ensure proper disposition of non-conforming hardware.
• Conduct assessments and audits for ISO-9001 / AS9100.
• Evaluate design assurance activities and production methodologies to prevent impacts on throughput and quality.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues.
• Apply lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
• Make final decisions on product acceptability.
