Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a quality operations leader to manage daily quality activities in the USA MACHESNEY PARK, IL area. You will oversee inspection staff, coordinate workload with production schedules, and drive corrective actions to ensure conformity and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 2+ years in quality analytics or testing, and preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality analysis or software testing (manual and/or automated).
• 1 year of experience leading or supervising hourly or non-exempt employees preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality operations within the assigned value stream to ensure product conformity, customer satisfaction, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Supervise, train, coach, and develop inspection personnel and other assigned Quality Department employees.
• Coordinate daily inspection activities, prioritize workload, and support production schedules while maintaining required quality standards.
• Monitor quality performance, inspection results, nonconformances, scrap, rework, customer concerns, or cost-of-quality indicators.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action activities for internal, customer, and supplier quality issues.
