Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Northampton, MA seeks an Associate Manager of Quality Engineering to lead a team responsible for setting and enforcing standards for product inspection, testing and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with manufacturing and engineering, and manage program quality costs and supplier actions while supporting audit readiness and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 6+ years of relevant experience, or 10 years in lieu of degree.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate teams and achieve objectives.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Attention to detail to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of quality control processes, standards and regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure products meet customer expectations.
• Monitor data related to quality control, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Lead and coach a quality engineering team; coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Audit quality processes and maintain documentation and records.
• Manage non-conformances, CAPAs, MRB, PFMEA activities and supplier actions.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and government/regulatory personnel on quality requirements.
• Support design reviews and ensure quality considerations are integrated into development.
