ITT Aerospace Controls is seeking an Engineering Design Intern for Summer 2027 in Valencia, California. This 12-week, full-time internship (May–August 2027) offers hands-on experience in aerospace engineering, including design, analysis, testing, and documentation efforts across materials and systems used in aviation.

The role requires current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, with junior or senior standing preferred. CAD experience is valued, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Junior or Senior preferred.
• Knowledge/experience in CAD design, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, analysis, testing, and documentation for products such as composites, metals, elastomerics, electric heaters, acoustics, and aerodynamics.
