Job summary

United Launch Alliance invites ambitious STEM students to join a Quality Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 in multiple locations, including Decatur, AL, and Cape Canaveral, FL. You will work with experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience across quality systems, and contribute to flight hardware analysis and process improvements.

Applicants should be pursuing a STEM bachelor’s degree, be available full-time for 10 weeks, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited college or university.
• Plans to be enrolled in Fall 2027 classes.
• Full-time availability for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Exposure to root cause analysis and basic engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on existing flight hardware and for future launches.
• Conduct causal analysis for non-conformances and support quality assurance.
• Assist on data analysis, process improvements, and testing activities.
• Support engineers and shadow operations during the internship.
