Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking an Engineering student to join our Quality Engineering team for the summer of 2027. For 10 weeks you will assist in reviewing and testing of products, perform containment activities, communicate with engineers, and verify effectiveness of vendor corrective actions.

This is a hybrid role at our Colmar, PA location, with in-office Monday–Thursday and a chance to WFH on Fridays. If you are highly organized and able to understand directions and communicate results, we want

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Interest in quality and product testing processes.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule at Colmar, PA site.

Responsibilities

• Understand primary types of customer complaints.
• Assist in containment and determination of root cause for customer product satisfaction gaps.
• Work with QE’s in determining root cause for returned product.
• Participate in cross-functional teams investigating issues.
• Support product development and reverse engineering functions.
• Support local site quality and operations.
• Help to implement controls to prevent recurrence on nonconformances.
