Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern for a 12-14 week program (May–August) to help implement process improvements in manufacturing, focusing on design for manufacturability and cost savings.

You will collaborate with mentors, drive small improvement projects, document processes, and present updates to leadership; some travel may be required for workshops and trade shows.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Programming experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively in a team to implement manufacturing process improvements.
• Collaborate with program mentors and champions to identify best methods for automating processes.
• Utilize a structured engineering approach to deploy best practices for process control and to improve yields.
• Initiate and/or update documentation of processes into work instructions.
• Lead capital project efforts to resolve production capacity and technology capability issues.
• Present multiple project updates to the local leadership team.
• Limited travel required for workshops and trade shows.
