Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a 12- to 14-week assignment from May to August.

You will help implement process improvements, collaborate across the organization on design-for-manufacturability and cost-saving initiatives, and support manufacturing teams. You will read engineering drawings, apply statistical tools, document processes, and present updates to leadership while working with mentors on automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Project management and structured problem solving with data-based decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong verbal, writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team to implement manufacturing process improvements.
• Identify methods for automating processes with mentors and champions.
• Deploy best practices for process control and yield improvement.
• Document processes into work instructions.
• Lead capital project efforts to resolve capacity and technology issues.
• Present multiple project updates to local leadership.
• Limited travel for workshops and trade shows.
