How will you make an impact? Provide technical support to the Quality Assurance function on issues affecting manufacturing operations. Support and drive corrective action initiatives, perform quality inspections and audits, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to ensure product quality and process effectiveness.
Ensure capability studies are performed on critical manufacturing processes. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and review visual aids for accuracy and effectiveness. Conduct defect analysis and prepare reporting on quality trends and issues. Perform Material Review Board (MRB) activities on sustained products. Participate in Corrective Action Committee (CAC) meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct line audits and product audits to verify compliance with quality requirements. Assist Quality Engineering with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities. Support root cause investigations and corrective action efforts. Maintain quality documentation and inspection records. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Experience: Experience supporting quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or engineering functions preferred. Experience performing inspections, audits, and defect analysis in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience supporting corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles. Ability to perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and product audits. Familiarity with capability studies and process performance analysis. Ability to analyze defects and support root cause investigations. Knowledge of Material Review Board (MRB) processes and non-conforming material management. Understanding of corrective and preventive action methodologies. Familiarity with APQP principles and quality planning processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to support continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives. U.S. Citizenship required for site-specific security clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Experience with quality audits, inspections, and process improvement activities. Experience supporting APQP and corrective action programs. Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and best practices. Experience with statistical analysis, process capability studies, and quality metrics. Experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
