Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Quality Engineering Co-Op at our Burnet, TX site for the Spring 2027 semester. The 6‑month assignment focuses on improving site quality systems, SPC reviews, and driving continuous improvement across semiconductor manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with production and engineering teams, build Power BI dashboards, and support key customer requests while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in quality systems and continuous improvement.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis, data interpretation, or process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with or exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with data visualization, dashboards, or reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Interest in quality engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Learn specialty canister/ampoule assembly and chemical purification technology.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to make enhancements to production processes that add value to customer while maintaining operational efficiency and safety requirements.
• Create power BI dashboards to improve visibility to site quality metrics (MOCs, customer returns, 8Ds, etc).
• Conduct statistical process control (SPC) reviews and develop review templates.
• Work with the engineering team to facilitate, track and drive key customer requests.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment.
