Job Title: Quality Engineering Co-Op Job Description: Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue the mission.

The Role: Our site in Burnet, TX is seeking a Quality Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. You will be a key player on a dynamic, skilled team whose objective is to sustain and continuously improve our specialty chemical products used in semiconductor manufacturing. Our specialty chemicals enable our customers to build high performance semiconductor products. This role will be primarily responsible for the improving of our site quality systems, enhancing our statistical process controls as well as continuous improvement projects.

What You’ll Do:
  • Learn specialty canister/ampoule assembly and chemical purification technology
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to make enhancements to production processes that add value to customer while maintaining operational efficiency and safety requirements
  • Create power BIs and other dashboards to improve visibility to site quality metrics (MOCs, customer returns, 8Ds, etc)
  • Conduct statistical process control (SPC) reviews and develop review templates
  • Work with the engineering team to facilitate, track and drive key customer requests
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment.
What We Seek:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in quality systems and continuous improvement
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis, data interpretation, or process improvement methodologies
  • Experience with or exposure to Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiarity with data visualization, dashboards, or reporting tools is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated initiative and eagerness to learn in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Interest in quality engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or process engineering

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering or chemical engineering Graduation Date: May 2027 or Later

Eligibility: Must be a currently enrolled student Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June Must be familiar with the university’s requirements to participate in a co‑op program Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for co‑ops/internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.
