Hyundai Transys Georgia Seating System is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive problem solving for process and supplier issues, implement 8D/5 Why methodologies, and monitor changes to ensure timely ISIR submissions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and build high-quality seats that exceed customer expectations.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, test setup and data-driven improvements, with a strong focus on safety and compliance in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in automotive manufacturing; seating experience a plus.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Document test results and analyze data using cameras, spreadsheets and documents.
• Set up mechanical, hydraulic, or electric test equipment per specs.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings to guide inspections.
• Inspect or test parts to determine defects or malfunctions.
• Monitor computer-controlled test equipment according to instructions.
• Test performance of seats and related automotive components.
