Job summary

Brio Water Technology, part of Home Organizers, Inc., is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop test methods, validate supplier testing, and investigate quality issues across water refrigeration and ice production products. You will drive continuous improvement from supplier qualification to final delivery.

You will lead root cause analyses using 8D, 5-Why, and DMAIC, implement CAPAs with measurable effectiveness, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to prevent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–7 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing; refrigeration, ice appliances, or food-grade equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS requirements and audit processes.
• Proven track record in RCA reports and CAPA outcomes; ability to provide examples.
• Hands-on proficiency with RCA methodologies: 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, FTA, DMAIC.
• Ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems and interpret data to drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute inspection and test plans (ITPs) for refrigeration components and ice-making assemblies.
• Apply SPC methodologies to monitor processes and identify variation trends.
• Lead RCA investigations and structured problem-solving for field and production defects.
• Coordinate failure analyses and document findings with photos, measurements, and reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and service to gather data and drive root-cause actions.
• Lead rapid-response quality reviews for critical customer escapes and safety concerns.
