Job summary

Brio Water Technology, a Home Organizers, Inc. company, is seeking a hands-on Director of Engineering to lead development of Brio’s water coolers, filtration systems and ice makers.

You will oversee mechanical and electromechanical design, DFM, prototyping, validation, and supplier collaboration, driving innovation, quality and speed to market with a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in mechanical product development, strong leadership, proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks),

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years mechanical product development; consumer appliances or water tech preferred.
• Experience with electromechanical systems, fluids and thermal systems.
• CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or equivalent) and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for Brio's product portfolio.
• Lead mechanical/electromechanical design from concept to NPI.
• Oversee CAD, prototyping, simulation, testing; DFM and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to integrate hardware.
