Job summary

Brose North America in Warren, MI is seeking a Quality Engineer to design, develop and improve plant manufacturing and assembly processes, production equipment, and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 12 months of engineering experience performing analysis of component performance using CpK/Ppk and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform process engineering to improve plant manufacturing and assembly processes and equipment for higher OEE.
• Perform QA analyses of component performance using DMAIC and statistical tools (Pareto, CpK, Ppk, DOE, ANOVA, Minitab).
• Conduct direct product quality audits, EHS audits, and Layered Process Audits.
• Support compliance with customer and IATF 16949 standards.
