Brose Jefferson, Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize plant manufacturing and assembly processes for high-volume production of automotive components in Warren, MI.

The role focuses on increasing overall equipment effectiveness, improving first time quality, reducing scrap, and ensuring adherence to customer/IATF 16949 standards through DMAIC and statistical analyses using Minitab and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Twelve months’ experience performing engineering analysis of component production using Cpk/Ppk studies and variation analysis.

Responsabilités

• Engineer, develop and improve plant manufacturing and assembly processes to increase OEE and support high volume production.
• Perform process engineering for automated assembly and welding lines to improve quality and reduce scrap.
• Conduct direct production quality audits, EHS audits, and Layered Process Audits.
