Job summary

Brose seeks an engineer to develop and improve plant manufacturing and assembly processes, production equipment and quality systems. You will use QA techniques, SAP QM module, and QIM tools to support high-volume production of door modules and related components for OEMs.

The role requires knowledge of DMAIC, Cpk, Ppk, GR&R and DOE to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, including audits and EHS checks, in a family-owned company with North American locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related field with practical engineering analysis.
• Experience with Cpk/Ppk studies to identify root causes and implement actions.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and improve plant manufacturing and assembly processes to increase OEE.
• Conduct process engineering for automated lines to improve First Time Quality and reduce scrap.
