Job summary

Swagelok Northeast Ohio is seeking a Quality Engineer for the Solon facility on 1st shift to develop and maintain quality plans and specifications for both new and existing products.

The role requires a four-year degree in a technical field and 2+ years in manufacturing process design, quality planning, or supervision. You will train personnel on PQP tools and drive continuous improvement across processes and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing process design and development, quality planning, and/or quality control supervision.
• ISO 9000 awareness.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product quality assurance plans and specifications.
• Assist in developing process control plans for designated products.
• Collect and assess statistical capability data to ensure compliance and drive corrective action.
• Design and acquire gauges, measurement systems, and data collection systems.
• Provide training on quality requirements and problem-solving tools to personnel.
• Manage documentation in the DCN system and approve technical documents.
• Conduct internal process audits and report project status.
• Drive process improvements to reduce external escapes and identify risks.
