Job summary

Swagelok, Northeast Ohio, USA in Solon is seeking a manufacturing leader to direct site operations, drive safety, cost, quality and on-time delivery, and manage 10–30 direct reports. You will lead Lean Daily Management System cadence, set visible metrics, run daily problem solving, and mentor teams to continuous improvement through Kaizen events and structured leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Intermediate computer skills (e.g. MS Office, using MRP systems, data mining & report generation).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Manufacturing experience (CNC, Conventional & Auxiliary equipment) or related business experience.
• Previous formal leadership roles or experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drives Lean Daily Management System cadence to achieve operational excellence.
• Establish metrics and goals that are visible and understood.
• Execute based on metrics (daily/weekly/monthly) and manage escalation/problem solving.
• Develop staffing/scheduling plans using capacity/load targets.
• Lead Boundary Team alignment between operations and support functions.
• Demonstrate alignment of mission, vision, values and strategies.
• Own and deliver messages, connecting the dots for associates.
• Drive culture of Quality/Continuous Improvement and standard work.
• Engage associates in waste reduction through Kaizen events.
• Develop talent with Workforce Development Plans and mentor for career goals.
• Perform performance management in line with HR policies.
