Job summary

Swagelok in Solon, OH, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead site manufacturing with a focus on safety, cost, quality, and on-time delivery. You will direct resources and 10–30 direct reports, ensuring efficient daily operations and strong adherence to policy and regulatory standards.

You will drive Lean Daily Management System cadence, develop staffing plans, and mentor staff to grow within a values-driven organization known for quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and basic computer skills (MS Office, MRP systems, data mining & report generation).
• Preferred Bachelor's degree and manufacturing experience; leadership roles desired.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for site manufacturing to meet safety, cost, quality and delivery goals.
• Lead resources and supervise 10–30 direct reports to ensure schedule adherence.
• Drive Lean Daily Management System cadence and maintain visible metrics.
• Develop staffing plans and coordinate cross-functional boundary team activities.
• Coach and mentor associates to achieve career goals and maintain policy compliance.
• Support continuous improvement and Kaizen events across the plant.
