Job summary

Celerity Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineer in Johnson Creek, WI. The role involves on-site inspections, metrology, GD&T interpretation, and documentation of QA records.

Responsibilities include first-piece and final inspections, CMM operation, and support for MRB and CAPA activities to reduce defects. Will work with machinists to ensure SOPs are followed and quality goals met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree in a technical field is highly preferred.
• 1–3+ years of experience in quality control/inspection in metal machining or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Operate and calibrate precision tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs.
• Read and interpret drawings with GD&T; document inspection results and prepare FAI/PPAP packages.
• Support MRB activities to quarantine non-conforming material and participate in CAPA/Root Cause Analysis.
• Collaborate with machinists to resolve quality issues and ensure SOP compliance.
