Job summary

Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing through development, evaluation, and continual improvement of processes using quality concepts and methodologies aimed at meeting customer expectations.

You will release shipped products with proper documentation, apply GD&T, perform first article inspections, assist production with measurement techniques, and collect data to drive quality metrics. Proficiency with FARO and Micro-Vu is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years working preferably in a metal fabrication environment with inspection experience.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret graphs.
• Knowledge of documentation and quality systems is a plus.
• Certification as Quality Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Release product for shipping with proper documentation and certifications.
• Understand and apply basic GD&T concepts.
• Perform dimensional verification of PPAP and first article parts.
• Support production with documentation and measuring technique training.
• Inspect manufactured and raw materials at receiving per process.
• Collect data, evaluate, and present quality metrics.
• Program and operate FARO and Micro-Vu equipment.
• Attend department meetings as required.
