Job summary

IDEX Health & Science, a leading precision fluidic device manufacturer, seeks a Quality Engineer in Rohnert Park, CA. You will own quality programs, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, and drive process improvements to ensure products meet stringent specifications. Strong GD&T, FMEA, and IPC experience required.

Travel about 20%. Ideal candidates have a BS in Mechanical/Industrial Eng, 3–5 years QE exp, and familiarity with ISO 9001/13485, SPC, and Minitab.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or relevant degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years Quality Engineering experience.
Experience with GD&T methodology.
Familiar with ISO 9001 or 13485 and IPC standards.
Knowledge of FMEA, Control Plan, and Statistical techniques.
Experience with IPC-610/IPC/620 and Mil-Std-1686/ANSI 20.20/JES D625-6.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/Document Control systems.
Ability to travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Ensure IDEX Health & Science products meet purchase specifications, design and quality requirements.
Lead, collaborate, and support quality initiatives with ownership and integrity.
Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with Engineering/Manufacturing to support new product design and release.
Develop and implement QC plans, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, and root-cause analysis.
Improve manufacturing processes and supplier quality; manage KPIs and data.
Participate in MRB activities and corrective actions; supplier development.
