Job summary

You will analyze data, drive corrective actions, and collaborate across Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to support continuous improvement and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, inspection or related quality role preferred.
• Experience preparing and completing PPAP documentation strongly preferred.
• Experience in an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and complete PPAP submissions with dimensional results and control plans.
• Perform dimensional inspections and product evaluations to verify conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Review engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications and customer quality requirements to set inspection criteria.
• Investigate quality concerns and lead root cause analysis and 8D problem solving.
• Support new product development and changes by developing inspection and control plans.
• Analyze inspection and nonconformance data and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Assist calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment and maintain quality records.
• Assist audits and maintain quality documentation in line with ISO 9001.
