Job summary

Brennan seeks a Quality Engineer to support PPAP submissions, inspections, and quality documentation. You will lead root-cause analysis, 8D actions, and alignment with ISO 9001 requirements across product development and manufacturing.

The role emphasizes developing inspection plans, analyzing data, and collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement. A technical degree and 3+ years in quality are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related technical field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, inspection or related field preferred.
• PPAP documentation experience preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System preferred.
• Experience in industrial, machining, hydraulic, automotive or similar environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare PPAP submissions with dimensional results, control plans, capability data and documentation.
• Perform dimensional inspections and evaluations using precision equipment.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T and specifications to set inspection criteria.
• Lead root cause analysis and 8D activities through resolution and verification.
• Develop inspection and control plans for new products or changes.
• Analyze inspection results and drive cross-functional continuous improvement.
• Support calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment; keep quality records.
• Comply with ISO 9001 QMS and participate in audits and corrective actions.
