The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring product quality through advanced inspection, CMM programming, and continuous improvement initiatives. Description
- Develop and optimize CMM programs utilizing PC-DMIS and other metrology software to support inspection requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications to establish inspection strategies and quality standards.
- Perform first article inspections, PPAPs, measurement system analysis, and gage R&R studies.
- Create and maintain quality documentation including control plans, inspection plans, and customer-specific quality records.
- Partner with engineering, machining, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer quality requirements while supporting operational growth.
Profile
- Hands-on CMM programming experience is required, with PC-DMIS experience MANDATORY
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer or related manufacturing quality role.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, dimensional inspection, and metrology practices.
- Experience working within AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Background in quality inspection, statistical analysis, and process validation within manufacturing.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while driving initiatives with minimal supervision.
