Job summary

Seda North America seeks a Quality Engineer to champion quality and food safety across manufacturing. This on-site role reports to the Quality Manager and collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve processes, supplier quality, and product integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related technical field.
• 4+ years manufacturing experience, preferably in packaging/food.
• Experience leading quality initiatives and problem solving.
• Ability to read ISO and HACCP related documents and use MS Office.
• Familiarity with analytical tools like Excel, Minitab; SAP ERP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality claims and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed supplier quality reports and defect tracking.
• Act as liaison between senior management and vendors to resolve quality issues.
• Develop experiments and analyze results to improve quality.
• Enhance the quality management system to improve product quality.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues using PDCA/ Six Sigma tools.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of quality equipment.
