Job summary

World Centric is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to inspect finished products, test new developments, and support quality, food safety, and social compliance across packaging lines. The role is on-site in Stone Mountain, GA, with the CEO involved and remote management for the director of quality.

The candidate will perform rigorous testing, maintain documentation, and collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure product performance and conformance to specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on measurement and inspection equipment experience.
• Knowledge of food-contact packaging requirements and quality systems.
• Experience with supplier quality investigations and CAPA.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test products for conformance to specs, including dimensions, capacity, and fit.
• Maintain records and documentation for quality, safety, and social compliance programs.
• Investigate customer quality concerns, identify root causes, and document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers on quality investigations.
