Job summary

Winchester Ammunition in Independence, Missouri is seeking a Quality Engineer – NGSW Equipping to ensure products and processes meet quality, customer and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate across functions to identify risks, resolve quality concerns and drive improvements in the equipping workflow.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least three years of relevant experience, and experience with audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in quality audits and regulatory compliance; ISO 9001:2015 preferred.
• Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Strong analytical skills with statistical software experience (Minitab/JMP).
• Willing to travel ~10% and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain quality assurance procedures aligned with standards.
• Audit production processes to identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Liaise with customer, operations, engineering and supply chain to meet specs.
• Collect and analyze data to report on quality performance metrics.
• Lead projects to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
