Job summary

Accelera in Moline, IL, is seeking an OFP Quality Engineer for the Cylinder facility. The role runs 7:00 AM–3:30 PM on the first shift and involves hands-on QA across welding, plating, machining and assembly.

You will monitor scrap and non-conforming materials, lead corrective actions, manage MRB processes, perform data analysis to spot trends, and ensure accurate reporting and functioning of AAT and QDAS systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with scrap, non-conforming materials, the Material Review Board, and cleanliness verification.
• Main quality representative for welding, plating, machining, and assembly to ensure product excellence on the factory floor.
• Use data analysis to identify trends and lead corrective actions across production teams.
• Oversee quality reporting and ensure automated systems like AAT and QDAS remain functional.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain high standards by managing processes related to scrap, non-conforming materials, MRB, and cleanliness verification.
• Serve as the main quality representative for various production areas such as welding, plating, machining, and assembly to ensure product excellence through active floor presence.
• Utilize data analysis to identify trends and lead effective corrective actions across production teams.
• Oversee essential quality reporting and ensure the ongoing functionality of automated systems like AAT and QDAS.
