Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an OFP Quality Engineer in East Moline, IL to support quality planning, control, and improvement for product development and manufacturing processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with SAP, MPPlanner, JDAAT, and MES systems, plus the ability to read prints and CMM data, and to work off shifts. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing assembly and weld processes.
• Ability to read prints, CMM reports, and measurement data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with salaried and wage personnel.
• Experience with shop floor documentation (Sequence of Events, PFMEA, and Operator Methods Sheets).
• Able to work off shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects impacting safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and ergonomics.
• Establish process controls, tooling, assembly methods, OMS, and control plans for revisions.
• Work with SAP, MPPlanner, and JDAAT to perform engineering functions.
• Drive closed loop corrective action for assembly/weld build issues.
• Contribute to the analysis and design of engineering solutions and testing approaches.
