Job summary
Accumold in Ankeny, IA, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing, engineering, and customers through data reporting and analysis, and development of Quality Planning documentation. The role involves QA activities across product and process development, driving quality improvements and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 2 years of manufacturing experience and ASQ certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Management, or equivalent and two years relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Reviews customer drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation for quality requirements and assesses meeting customer expectations through all phases of product/process development.
- Coordinates creation and maintenance of FMEA’s, Control Plans, and other Product Quality Planning documents with a cross functional team.
- Compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality of products and processes.
- Trains other employees regarding new and existing in-process inspection techniques.
