Job summary

Transcendia, Inc. in Richmond, Indiana is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing floor as a key change agent committed to continuous improvement and reliable qualification of custom materials.

You will partner with Operations and Engineering to drive quality standards, lead investigations, and manage corrective actions within a compliant quality system. This role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or related field, strong data analysis, and the ability to communicate effectively

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
• Experience leading nonconformance investigations in a regulated quality system.
• Experience applying risk management and SPC in manufacturing.
• Experience developing SOPs and test methods.
• Experience leading and supporting test method validations.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with manufacturing and engineering to develop, implement, maintain and improve quality standards and methods to ensure product quality within manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with and mentor cross‑functional team members through root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement processes, supporting a culture of quality.
• Lead investigations in response to quality nonconformances and manage timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyze quality data and KPIs, identify trends, and initiate actions to address risks.
• Plan and execute test method validations.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
