Job summary

Transcendia, INC. in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a hybrid Quality Control Technician to balance lab QC testing with real-time process auditing on the manufacturing floor.

You’ll partner with production teams to identify deviations, troubleshoot material variations, and ensure every roll of engineered film or custom material meets strict quality standards and customer specs. The role emphasizes data-driven testing, collaboration across departments, and adherence to regulatory and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in Applied Science preferred.
• Two (2) years of quality control work experience in manufacturing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills are essential
• Must possess good problem-solving skills and basic math skills
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees and vendors
• Solid verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Willingness to work as team member or independently

This hybrid role balances precise, data-driven quality control (QC) testing within our laboratory with active, real-time process auditing across the manufacturing floor. You will partner closely with production teams to identify deviations early, troubleshoot material variations, and ensure that every roll of engineered film or custom material meets our strict quality standards and customer specifications.
