Job summary

Transcendia, Inc. is seeking a Quality Technician to champion product excellence and regulatory compliance. The role blends laboratory QC testing with hands-on process auditing on the manufacturing floor, ensuring materials meet customer specifications.

You will partner with production teams to identify deviations, troubleshoot material variations, and help maintain the highest quality standards across engineered films and custom materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates in applied science preferred.
• Two years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Good problem-solving and basic math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods; document results.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot QC equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) as needed for customers.
• Print material identification tags and manage COA-related communications with suppliers.
• Perform manufacturing and process audits to verify SOP and safety adherence.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and initiate Hold procedures.
• Collaborate with machine operators and production supervisors to assess quality defects.
• Support internal audits and assist with customer complaints investigations.
