Michael Page is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer in a long-established manufacturing environment with ~280 employees. The role focuses on leading customer quality issues, root-cause investigations, and continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, and APQP/PPAP activities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with product development, suppliers, and leadership to enhance quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Strong root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with customers on quality-related issues and corrective actions.
• Understanding of quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, AIAG Core Tools, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality complaints and drive issues through closure.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and problem-solving activities across manufacturing operations.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and develop improvement initiatives to enhance product performance.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and other quality planning activities with product development and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct audits, interface with customers and suppliers, and support internal and external quality systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis tools.
