Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Engineer in Monroe, LA to strengthen quality across the site. The role emphasizes hands-on root-cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Production, and Supply Chain to boost process capability and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing quality, ISO 9001 experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
3+ years in manufacturing quality or related role.
3+ years applying root cause analysis and corrective actions.
2+ years working with ISO 9001 quality systems and internal audits.

Responsibilities

Lead investigations of customer complaints and warranty issues using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, PFMEA).
Support and improve the site’s Quality Management System to ISO 9001 standards.
Conduct internal process audits and drive timely resolution of findings.
Analyze quality data to identify trends and reduce defects and scrap.
Develop and maintain PPAPs, PFMEAs, Control Plans, MSA, and Process Capability studies.
Support validation activities (IQ, OQ, PQ) as applicable.
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement process controls and improve product quality.
Provide training and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
