Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Quality Engineer to uphold product quality and process excellence across manufacturing. You will lead root cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to improve reliability.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, ISO-aligned documentation, and the ability to implement process improvements using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant progressive quality experience required in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of relevant quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years experience with MS Office Suite, to include intermediate Excel skills
• 1+ year of experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and document process improvements to ensure quality and reliability.
• Quality project lead representative for new product introductions.
• Initiate and maintain documentation to support process and manufacturing improvements.
• Respond to quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.
• Communicate with suppliers on non-conforming material and manage supplier corrective actions.
