Job summary

Intrex Aerospace, a precision aerospace manufacturer in Thornton, CO, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Quality Department and production staff. The role focuses on planning, developing, implementing, communicating, training and maintaining the Company's Quality Management System (AS 9100).

The ideal candidate will work with customers, suppliers and Intrex personnel to develop quality processes and standards, conduct inspections, audits and drive continuous improvement.

We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Quality Department and production staff. The focus of this role will be the planning, development, implementation, communication, training and maintenance of the Company’s Quality Management System (AS 9100). The Quality Engineer will also be working with customers, suppliers, and other Intrex personnel to develop quality processes and standards that support our Quality Management System. This includes inspection techniques, audits, internal and supplier quality corrective actions, and continuous improvement objectives.

The Quality Engineer interacts with Intrex stakeholders, auditors, suppliers and customers so the ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team to solve problems. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is willing to initiate change and improvement.

This position reports directly to the Quality Supervisor but completes most tasks independently.
