Acushnet Company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support QA and continuous improvement across Custom Ball and Packaging operations. You will drive quality improvements, reduce defects and variations, and ensure products meet customer and internal standards.

You will partner with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams, analyze data with SPC, and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• CQE certification, ASQ certification, or formal quality coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality/quality engineering.
• Experience utilizing SPC methodologies and sampling plans.
• Working knowledge of quality management systems, reporting tools, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and CI teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause investigation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with pad printing, inkjet printing and computer graphics is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive quality improvements and reduce process variation across operations.
• Partner with manufacturing, operations, engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Analyze and report quality data through quality management systems and SPC.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Support Change Notice reviews, documentation updates and audits.
• Contribute to Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Quality Steering Committee and Quality Initiative Program projects.
