Job summary

Impact Electronic Solutions in Ventura, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring product specifications and quality standards are met throughout the lifecycle.

You will lead process improvements, monitor yields, support ISO 9001 audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost reduction and efficiency.

This hands-on role requires problem solving, Lean training, and the ability to work with production to deploy new methods.

Qualifications

• 4-year relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with standard computer applications.
• US citizen or Permanent Resident as we build ITAR controlled defense cables.
• Familiarity with problem solving techniques.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor production yields and implement corrective actions to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Lead and support the launch of new or revised products ensuring quality and process requirements are met.
• Create and maintain QMS procedures; support audits and uphold processes to achieve quality objectives.
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products, including training team members.
• Collaborate across departments to improve production control, SOPs, safety, quality, and training.
