Job summary

Silicon Forest Electronics is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and optimize cost-effective manufacturing processes that meet product specifications and ISO 9001 standards.

You will monitor yields, lead corrective actions, and support new product launches, collaborating with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle. This hands-on role requires problem-solving, documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with standard computer applications
• US citizen or Permanent Resident as we build ITAR controlled defense cables
• Familiarity with problem solving techniques
• Be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production yields and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and support the launch of new or revised products.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards and conduct audits.
• Coordinate training and deployment of new processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve yield and product flow.
