Job summary

Element Solutions Inc. in Fremont seeks a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Management System, meet customer requirements, and drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with manufacturing to address quality issues and implement robust changes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 0–3 years’ related experience. Proficiency with QA tools and MS Office is expected; regular audits and CAPA tracking are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM/technical field is required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solve manufacturing quality problems with operations and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead changes and PCNs; track, review and close actions with stakeholders.
• Generate and communicate process changes and COA updates to customers as needed.
• Initiate and lead internal audits to improve QMS and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949.
• Provide metrics on CAPAs, customer complaints, and action items to ensure timely closure.
• Collaborate on quality improvement programs with QA leadership and engineering.
