A leading technology firm in California is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer who will develop and implement process improvements while applying quality engineering tools to enhance production and service performance. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of direct experience in electronic manufacturing and a deep understanding of ISO 9001 standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead audits and collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years direct experience with electronic manufacturing.
• Experience with quality control and failure analysis.
• Experience with statistical tools, including SPC and process capability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage manufacturing process flows including QA checkpoints.
• Apply Quality Engineering tools to improve products and processes.
• Coordinate new product releases with the engineering team.
• Lead and coordinate internal ISO 9001 audits.
• Serve as a key liaison during UL audits.

Skills

Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite

Working knowledge of the Electrical/Electronics manufacturing industry

In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards and audit processes

Experience with UL certification and audits
