You will develop and validate robust manufacturing processes, collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality, and ensure processes meet customer and Nelson standards including IATF 16949. You will lead process verification, tool validation, and Safe Launch activities while driving continuous improvement and defect prevention across fabrication, welding, assembly,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent manufacturing experience)
• 3–5 years in manufacturing, process or quality engineering
• Experience with APQP/PPAP/PFMEA/Control Plans/SPC/MSA/RCAs
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and IATF 16949 experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize manufacturing processes for new product launches, transfers and existing production
• Create and maintain Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans and Standard Work Instructions
• Develop processes for fabrication, welding, assembly, paint, packaging, and material flow
• Lead process verification and validation before production release
• Validate tooling, fixtures, gauges, inspection methods, and mistake-proofing systems
• Support Safe Launch planning and critical process steps before production
• Support APQP, PPAP, FAI, and Engineering Change Management
• Lead structured problem solving using 8D, A3 and root cause analysis
• Analyze data to reduce COPQ and improve process capability
• Support audits and compliance with IATF 16949 and CQI-15
