Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System across manufacturing, repair, and field service activities. You will work with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to improve process capability, reduce defects, and drive corrective actions.

The role emphasizes root cause investigations, supplier quality, CAPA, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 3-5 years in Quality/Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes (NCRs).

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and process controls.
• Monitor manufacturing, repair, assembly, and field service activities for quality compliance.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and customer complaints; drive CAPA.
• Develop inspection/test plans and review quality documentation and records.
• Support audits and customer quality reviews; generate quality reports for leadership.
