Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Sun Valley, CA, is seeking a motivated Quality Engineer early in career to build a foundation in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. You will manage KPIs, interface with customers, and ensure ASME drawing compliance while supporting RFQs and corrective actions.

Responsibilities include maintaining QMS documents, coaching inspectors, and tracking RMA statuses, with weekly Integrify task completion and strong emphasis on customer-facing problem solving.

Qualifications

• Early-career quality engineer with manufacturing exposure.
• Experience maintaining procedures and work instructions in QMS.
• Ability to review engineering drawings for ASME compliance.
• Experience coordinating with customers and ethics documents.
• Strong track record in tracking corrective actions and RMA statuses.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage KPIs.
• Oversee rework and scrap processes.
• Ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain customer scorecards.
• Interface with customers and update RMA statuses.
• Review supplier ethics documents and distribute them.
• Develop and maintain a customer quality contact rolodex.
• Track statuses of corrective actions.
• Support RFQs and contract reviews as needed.
• Supervise First Article Inspection reports.
• Complete weekly tasks in Integrify queue.
