Job summary

Sherpa | Recruiting, Staffing & Consulting is seeking a mid- to advanced-career Quality Engineer for the Fort Worth, TX area. The candidate will guide plant-level QA inspectors and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and process integrity.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans and procedures, identifying root causes, analyzing quality data, and helping maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification. A Bachelor's in Engineering plus 3–5 years’ experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• Three to five years of related experience required.
• Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• SAP experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of products.
• Ensure products meet the organization’s and customer quality and product integrity requirements.
• Support product development or operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process.
• Identify root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
• Analyze data to identify trends in product quality or defects with the goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
• Support and maintain the requirements related to keeping the site ISO 9001:2015 certified.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
