Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Huntsville, AL seeks a Quality Engineer – Level 2. This 100% onsite role cannot accommodate telecommute and requires a Secret clearance at start. You will ensure quality compliance, analyze non-conformances, and lead root-cause investigations across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with 2 years (or a master’s with 0) and relevant QA/engineering experience. SAP/Jira and MIL-STDs knowledge are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master’s with 0 years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application.
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Manufacturing/Process/Electrical/Mechanical engineering performing technical functions.

Aufgaben

• Assure program and subcontractor quality compliance per contractual requirements.
• Enforce adherence to PrOP, engineering drawings, program processes, and work instructions.
• Support process control implementation, in-process and final inspections, quality reviews, and audits.
• Analyze non-conformances and lead root cause investigations with preventive/corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, reports, and metrics per standards.
• Interpret and apply AS9100/ISO 9001, MAP, and QMS requirements.
• Lead documentation and resolution of hardware defects and MRB activities.
